Self-Portraits

Some people like to take selfies to show themselves in their best light, while others frame their faces to distort them, crumple them, wrinkle them, crumple them up, and tear them as if they’d been through the washing machine.
Claudia Vialaret is one of them. Starting from a single photograph, expressions shift through simple variations in the folds, mirroring the artist’s equally shifting moods.
