Courbet and me

Courbet’s painting «Le désespéré» is diverted and mixed with Claudia Vialaret’s self-portraits. This series puts into images the successive attempts of the artist to insinuate herself into the painting and share its emotion. It is an unseen encounter between painting and photography.
